Emotionally charged paintings
Inspired by human relationships, the impact on and of their surroundings as well as the intricate human mind on a sentimental level, my aim is to create emotionally charged paintings that evoke deep feelings within the observer. I am currently in particular focusing on visualizing the individuals conscious mind and their relationship with the subconscious ‘inner child’.
A sense of harmony
Always thinking about different compositions that are rich in contrast but still convey a sense of harmony to further enhance the ‘push and pull’ notion between the internal minds. Representing the two as a giant adult and a small childlike figure that are positioned in different natural landscapes.

There is more behind it
I would describe these environments surrounding the giants and children as depictions of the third and undefinable mind of the unconsciousness. Creating a lot of movement and circular motions to draw the attention around what is most visible for and important to us humans, yet indirectly displaying how much more there is behind it.
